At what age should teenagers begin to work?

Assuming the family is not in need of money, what is a good age for a teenager to being working so they can have some spending money? At what age should teenagers begin to work?
Whenever they want to start spending money. The earlier you start, the more money you will have to spend. Usually, the typical age a teenage starts working is between the ages of 14 and 16.At what age should teenagers begin to work?
teenagers should begin at probally at the age of 15 or hightier that what i did!!
15 if they can get a job some states you have to 16 but at any age you feel like you want more than you parents dish out it is time to get a job
15 or 16
16...its the best age but teens can start at 15 if the employer lets you
Where I'm from (Philadelphia), you need to be at least 16 to work legally. 16 is the age a teenager can receive working papers. Now if you're asking about under the table, I think 14 is a good age. It really depends on how responsible the teenager is. Maturity levels differ from child to child, so that is really your decision
I would say 15...or whenever the begging for money really starts to become a problem

Its good to instill good work ethics in someone while their young.
