Teenagers nowaday are lack of patriotism? What is your opinion about this issue?

Give the country where you refer to.Teenagers nowaday are lack of patriotism? What is your opinion about this issue?
USA.

Our kids are very patriotic and most have better sense than the majority of their elders.

They had enough sense to tell Bush where to get off the FIRST time he wasn't elected.

They're smart enough to not confuse following a temporary dictator with following Love of a 230 year-old Country.

Like I said, most have better sense than the majority of their elders.Teenagers nowaday are lack of patriotism? What is your opinion about this issue?
Yes, Nowadays teenager lack patriotism.

1. Lack of knowledge of history of the country they belong.

2. More interested in their own personnel life.

3. No knowledge of country's interests
i dont think so because today we can see students rising in rebellion against an improper govn.

they still respect the national anthem or things like that
Teenagers are more prone to emulate the beliefs or attitudes

of those they respect. Not necessarily their parents, but parents

are a good source.

If the Adults patriotism leaves a lot to be desired, ergo the Teens.
today its kinda sad...in my country, u have to stop what we're doing when the anthem plays, and in school you have to stand straight like a soldier...when i came to the U.S, I realized some ppl were playing around giggling while the rest of us said the pledge in class...People are taking there freedom for granted, 'cause soon there won't be any......
hey! im a teen and i dont have a patrionism problem!! im aussie
I'm a teenager and i don't lack patriotism..well at least not for My native country..I respect the US country and always will but i am not as patriotic for the US as i am for my native country..which is the Dominican Republic. :)
send them to live in a communist country. their spoilt and ungrateful for a country that is free.
I'm in the U.S.

I have a 8yr old in 3rd grade, who informed me that the new

school didn't say the pledge of alegiance.

How can we have patriotic children if the schools are so busy teaching diversity that patriotism and civic pride take a back seat.

Is it normal for 2 male teenagers to sleep in the same bed?

I am 19, My best friend is 17, and whenever we stay at each others houses we always sleep in the same bed, even though there is always extra beds available in each of our houses.

We both are straight and have girlfriends, and the thing that's been getting me is that I don't sleep in the same bed with any of my other male friends, so Im just wondering is this normal?

Thanks, and please no answers saying we're gay because we are definitely not, and we are both very open minded people. Is it normal for 2 male teenagers to sleep in the same bed?
You have a bro-mance...its a special bond between you and your go to guy (or atleast described by brody jenner)...but every guy has that brother who isnt blood related. There is nothing wrong with it...this is one reason they can not get accurate studies out of males, because guys are so afraid to admit anything. Normal is what you make it to be!!Is it normal for 2 male teenagers to sleep in the same bed?
Just dude you and your friend sound pretty close and it is not a big deal to sleep in the same bed. dude if that is where you are in your relationship with him thats cool most dudes would think otherwise. If your comfortable enough to do what your doing then i see no problem. I have freinds stay over female and male that also share my bed and nothing happens even with the chicks. I think i depends on the level of frendship your at and sounds like this is almost a brother relationship

be cool

curtdude
hi ,no theirs nothing wrong with that your both just very good friends ,i too do the same we are very good friends and theirs nothing going on with us , sure to some people think your gay but thats not it ,so to some its not right but if you and your friend feel ok with it then just do it but don't let every one else know cause they will have a rumor out that you and your friend are getting it on you know ,so stay cool dude maybe if you don't think that it right then sleep in another bed, bye
I think it's completely normal, now if you start cuddling and what not .. then you know .. LOL.

But other than that I have a lot of male friends/brothers that sleep on the same bed when they sleep over their friends house.

I think it's normal, just don't get all freaky.
no i think its sweet ..it just means you are really close like brothers ..since there is nothing sexual going on i say continue to do it ..the reason u dont do it with other friends is likely because the subject has either never came up or you dont feel the special bond that you have with youre other friend ..

its fine dont let others tell you something is wrong with it
It's fine. There's nothing wrong with doubling up with another guy unless you end up spooning or something.
Why are you asking this unless you already know it's not ';normal.';
i think its sweet as long as one of you are not sleeping on the top of the other
You are just trying new things which is ok.
Your Just Good Freinds That's All There's No Problem With It.
chure!
nah i'm 14, friend of mine is 16, we always sleep in the same bed. but my other friends never do. its all good

  • Why do some adults say that teenagers dont know what love is?

Why is it that a lot of adults believe this? Why do some adults say that teenagers dont know what love is?
The arrogance of the unloved aged. Ignore them. Why do some adults say that teenagers dont know what love is?
The adults who say it often don't know much more than the teens they are criticizing.

Love in the heart is a metaphysical reaction in the mind to shared values.

Teens too often mistake lust for love, not having known real love. Adults sometimes do the same, but cloak it with rationalizations because they don't have those shared values either--but they think they do because lust--not love--is blind.
When guys are teenagers they tend to think more with their krotches. It's vulgar, but it's the truth. When guys say they like a girl at that age, it's mostly because she's attractive, hot, and or popular. They have a shallow perception of love. I mean, I liked a girl in high school all because she had a nice pair of cheerleader legs, shallow? OH Yeah! and the thing is, at the time I started devoloping false feelings of what I thought was love, when in fact all it was was a fixsation and a lust for her looks. I was too naive to figure out that a lust for someone's looks isn't love. Physical Attraction isn't love, it's preference. While emotional attraction is love. Where you ignore looks and find out what's deep within, and yes, there are a lot of adult men who think with their krotches too, but mostly as you get older your perception of love goes from being shallow, to a deeper perception of love.

In the end my advice to you is, ask your parents what their perception of love is, and to teach you what love is if they're so smart. Love is something you find out for yourself. Some figure it out sooner than others and some never find out. By the context of this question it sounds as if you know what love is. It's all about emotional maturity, if you have that emotional maturity, than you definently know what love is. Good luck man, I hope I helped.
because adults have been through a lot of experiences with love and pain and they want to spare their child so they say that hoping it will but what they don't realize is that they are not validating their children's feelings and I think that could potentially make their children feel like their parent's don't respect their feelings. It sounds like cruelness, but it isn't necessarily meant that way.
because they went threw hurt times. they htought they were in love at one point and they dont want you to make the same mistakes. but if you talk to the people who have been with their childhearts and are still together then they will not say you dont know what love is beacuse they were and still are in love.
Because they have not lived long enough and had enough life experiences to know what love is.

There is a big, big difference between love, deep true lasting love, and infatuation.

Enjoy being young while you are young--there's plenty of time to find real love and be married when you are older.
Because infatuation usually comes first and a lot of times the younger you are the more naivve you can be and maybe not fully understand the difference.
Because they think teens dont know nothing and they know it all and im not being rude it's just the truth im very much in love and im a teenager and i would die for him so adults think that know what it is all the time hope i helped
Because parents and adults can be stupid. They don't know how you feel about someone and i think they only say that because they don't want you to really fall in love.
Because a teenager's brain is not fully developed. This does not mean a teen cannot fall in love, but I suppose that's where adults get it.
You think you know but in truth what you know is raging hormones that want to get out of control
    I personally think that

    A. they have forgotten any kind of youth

    B. they did not experience it

    C. they are cynical
...because adults who complain don't know what love is...
