Is Gran Melia in Cancun Mexico a good resort for teenagers?

I'm planning on going to Mexico for a vacation and wondering if Gran Melia is a good resort for teens in the ages of 15-16? The hotel looks amazing and i would really like to go there but would they enjoy it and if not what would u recommend?Is Gran Melia in Cancun Mexico a good resort for teenagers?
It would be a fine place to go with teens. Pay no attention to what that girl said. She has NO idea what she is talking about. Canc煤n is very safe and you have nothing to worry about. Another option you may want to look into is Crown Paradise Club Canc煤n. They have a teen park, water-park, and other activities for the younger crowd (such as mini-golf and rock wall climbing). They also offer two daily shuttles over to Aqua world where you kids can use non-motorized water sports, which is an amenity that is included when you book this hotel. Canc煤n Palace also is a good family resort. Any of those would be fine to go with your teens to. Crown Paradise has a little more to offer so you might want to check that out and see if it's something you would both enjoy. Depends what resort complex you are thinking about. The area is very dangerous, and tourists are warned over and over not to roam from the resort complex, that is why most are very large and offer a huge range of things to do and places to see within the grounds. Personally, i would not go back, i was soooo bored. Teenagers like their own space and enjoy freedom, going somewhere like Mexico restrics this hugely.

In fact Canc煤n is a place where tourists in Mexico receive ';Royal Treatment';, it is a truly safe place to go. Teen-agers i dont think would enyoy such a big and fancy hotel like Mel铆a, Probably teenagers would like more something like the OASIS CANCUN... Anyway all hotels in Cancun are absolutely used to teen ager behavior it could be a bit boring for them, but OASIS is not as fancy anad has a great pool as well as a nice beach and it isnt that fancy at all. Have fun!
