Why were teenagers so boring back in the olden days?

like today i read that during the 1940s girls who were 14! played hopscotch and skipping rope! (how immature)





even worse i read that boys who were 16 swam in lakes, climbed trees and rode bikes - why did teens act like little kids back then?Why were teenagers so boring back in the olden days?
we knew how to have fun and actually interacted with other people. Another factor is that we had manners and didn't think that the others in this world were less than us (hint). I wish that all the electrical devices went kablooey for one week. How would you cope? LOLWhy were teenagers so boring back in the olden days?
Why are you worried what teenagers back in the 1940's did? What may seem boring to you could be fun for someone else. On a different note, I've worked with plenty of people that grew up during those times and that's not all teenagers did during those times. I'm only twenty two, but swimming and playing hopscotch sounds a lot better than what today's youth is doing these days! Every where I look these days I see young men with pants hanging under their butts young women dressed like floozies with little to no self respect. All teenagers want to do is engage in underage drinking, have promiscuous sex, and try to act older than what they are. There's nothing innocent about today's youth!
70 years from now your grandchildren are going to look back and say the same thing about you. They weren't boring, that was just the way things were. It's not immature to play games, it's a lot healthier for you than sitting around watching TV and being on the computer and text messaging all day.
hey B#tch im 16 and i swim, we got lots of lakes in central texas were i live. and i ride bikes, ive been mountain biking sense i was 13, and i used to do lots of drop off's..you don no the first thing about biking





by the way i also do party..hook up with girls, smoke lots of weed, trip shrooms and get drunk
welllll they didnt have tv's and computers back then!!! (notice they were also more healthy and less obese...) my sister said that when she was little and wasnt doing anything my dad would tell her to go outside and play. she wasnt allowed to watch tv all day. (that was in the 1980's)
what makes that immature? if it was fun to them then that's all that matters and did you stop to think that the only reason we have that advantage is because technology has gotten a lot better. they didn't have everything that we have now....wow.
I'm pretty sure that wasn't the case- ask my grandmother.
because it was good clean fun!...you wait till your kids say the same thing about you.....


Like my dad said, there is nothing new under the son.....just a different crowd a doin'er!
