What happens to teenagers when they go on probation? What would get you on it?

Probation Appointments

Drug Drops

LOTS of Court Orders like drug and alcohol treatment, going to school everyday, helping at home(and the probation dept. does ask your parents how you act at home and yes IT MATTERS).

The court can order public service work hours, order a no contact order with a victim or no entry into a retail establishment(if you were caught stealing).

The judge will give you a curfew and even tell you who you can and can't hang out with.

If you screw up you can have your probation revoked and then you are looking at a re-sentencing with harsher punishment.

It's best to be good and get through it.

*** I just read what you added in. She will be charged with Possession of a Controlled SubstanceWhat happens to teenagers when they go on probation? What would get you on it?

Who put the teenager on probation? which agency? which group?

What was the offense? what was the initial sentence handed down.

Is there a ankle bracelet, monitoring device attached to the teenager?

I mean, really...maybe probation means one day working at the community center or staying home or...........god, who knows.
She will probably get suspended from school, and as far as legal issues, probably nothing at all considering she is so young.
