I know a teen who felt she had to as her parents were against her keeping it %26amp; she couldn't see a way of coping financially so adopted it out. Have google searched but I can't see any books on this subject. A year on, she seems ok but I thought a book might help.Anyone know of any self help books for teenagers that have adopted their baby out?
Here, I found some:
Dear Birth-mother, Thank You for our Baby - Kathleen Silber
Saying Goodbye to a Baby - Patricia Roles
A Birth-parent’s Book of Memories - Brenda Romanchik
Did My Birth-Mother Love Me - Kathryn Ann Miller
Why Didn’t She Keep Me? - Barbara Burlingham-Brown
Your intentions are good, but these books sound a little depressing...
If she's doing better, a book like that might make her feel down again...

here's a little of what i found amazon.com. the books have excerpts on teens and adoptions and those sections may be helpful.
1. So you want to be a teenager? What every preteen must know about . . .by Dennis Rainey (there is section about teen adoption)
2. The Girls Who Went Away: The Hidden History of Women Who Surrendered Children for Adoption in the Decades Before Roe v. Wade, by Ann Fessler (although this is before Roe v Wade, i'm sure the stories will help).
3. Hooking up: A Girl's all-out guide to sex and sexuality, by Amber Madison
good luck
try a book for grieving.
