Why do teenagers in the suburbs try to act like young children?

i just moved to a new part of town, and these 18 year old kids like disney movies, going to the toystore, and being childish acting.Why do teenagers in the suburbs try to act like young children?
i guess thats better then the 14 yr olds smoking, drinking,dealing drugs and flashing guns around my neighborhood.Why do teenagers in the suburbs try to act like young children?
Maybe their parents shelter them a lot.


Either that or they're just trying to be contrary to how teenagers are usually perceived.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with any of those things!
Coz they think they are 'being cute' and trying to hold onto their childhood.
They haven't experienced much in life yet to be mature.
sfresh the average age of a video gamer is 30 years old.. video games are not for kids..
