Do you think school has a big impact on teenagers these days?

What's your opinion about it? I think it has done more bad things than good. Teenagers can be home schooled too to learn and study. But public schools...umm..they have bad influences. For example, in my school, if one person fights and smokes others think it's cool and they start doing it too. I think happiness really comes before anything else.


I wonder what it'll be like if we experiment with several people. Like make them stay home and study instead of going to school.Do you think school has a big impact on teenagers these days?
Yes it has a negative and positive impact

I agree that there will always be bad influence





However, I do feel that the socializing thing is important too. Of course not socializing with those screwed up kids, but making normal friends, socialize with them. These are the things that we don't learn from text book.





And yeah, a person happiness is very important, so I think it depends then on a person. If a person prefers a home school environment, by all means there's nothing wrong with home-school.





But if a person prefers to have friends around them in school, as in they require the companionship of others all the time, where they rather attend classes full of kids, the normal school is the way to go.





As for bad influence, thats where the parents comes in. Parents should know their kids friends, who they are hanging out with during the weekends and all.
NO i would never want to be home schooled i think school is great


we need to be social and we are just having a bit of harmless fun.

everyone will do stuff at some time in life so what if we do it early at my school no one is having sex and we had d.a.r.e a drug programe were we learn why not to smock drink or take drugs





there is so many good reasons for school





we learn more good than bad

Also, in my class, there are about 30 pupils, and most of them are just loud, and annoying, so you can't concentrate.
That may be true, but when their parents look the other way when their kids are doing these bad things, then they are just as bad.
Kids need to be social. You cant keep them locked up in their house with their parents and then turn them loose on the world.
I think the other students and the socializing have an impact on them, NOT the education.*
