I am supposed to write a short story (500-1200 words) about anything that is fiction. I decided to write about a girl whose best friend (who is a guy) get's hauled off to fight for the war. I was wondering what life was like for teenagers during that time. I was planning to make her 17 and him about 18 maybe a little bit older. Thanks!!
