depends on how repsonsible they are, some kids are responsible as kids no matter what you may hear
I would answer that question several ways depending on if you are referring to urban or rural life and how responsible the teenager has learned to be. Does the person have a part-time job that might either require a vehicle or make it very convenient if he/she owned a car. Would another car in the family provide transportation that is needed. Perhaps a pickup would really be an added convenience for the family. A wise parent does not need ten reasons. When a wise parent says '; NO '; that is the end of the discussion. If you must come up with ten reasons you are admitting to your teen that they are on equal ground with you and you can't be what a parent is, or should be, if you start negotiating with some one that is looking to you for guidance and wisdom.
